I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my husband, a retired Pharmacist, and my 2 dogs and 4 cats. In the 80's I lived in Londonderry, N. Ireland, for 2 years. While there I was able to do a lot of traveling. Besides getting to know Northern Ireland pretty well, I also loved visiting the Republic of Ireland. Also, while there, I traveled to Scandinavia, Western Europe, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Russia, Australia, Thailand (Bangkok), and all of Great Britain and Scotland. In the 90's, Harold and I honeymooned in Nova Scotia. The next year we visited Beijing, China and one year later London, Paris and Amsterdam again. I've been to every state except Nebraska, Vermont, Hawaii and Alaska. I now do some free-lance writing and have won several awards for my stories, essays and poetry. I am also a bird enthusiast and a Purple Martin Landlord. I love to travel, crochet, read, write, garden and watch MSNBC on TV with my husband.
